Visa pour l’Image 2005

Depuis des années à Gaza, chaque jour est un jour d’enterrement. Ahmed Jadallah (35 ans), Suhaib Salem (26 ans) et Mohammed Salem (20 ans) sont trois photographes palestiniens qui travaillent pour Reuters. Ils sont aussi trois frères. Leur travail est de couvrir les informations dans leur région. Inévitablement, la couverture de funérailles tient une grande place. Ahmed, Suhaib et Mohammed connaissent le nom de chaque victime. Souvent, c’est un ami ou un parent. Cette exposition est un échantillon de leur travail quotidien. Beaucoup diront : "on l’a déjà vu". Vous avez raison. Vous l’avez déjà vu. Tristement, vous allez probablement en voir plus. Espérons que non.
